Follow the story of Brad & Laurie's new venture "salt". Salt is an American "gastropub" which is a term coined about 15 years ago in Europe. It means a public house, a place for people to gather and to meet, with its main focus on the food. We are a place for neighbors from far and near to meet, drink, and eat. Here you'll get a good glimpse into the good, the bad, and the ugly. Feel free to add your comments!

About Me

bradley boyle: byram, nj, United States; This is Mine and Lauries second restaurant. We opened the popular "bula" restaurant in Newton and ran that for 7 years prior to opening Salt. I am a CIA grad class of 1.88....served as an apprentice under Daniel Boulud at the world renowned Le Cirque in manhattan as well as a four year stint with Chef Stephen Attoe at NYC's famous "Mortimer's". Laurie holds a degree in Psychology from Caldwell College (which is a huge help being in this business) as well as a grad degree from Seton Hall. We have 4 great kids, 2 adopted dogs, one adopted cat, and a brood of fish.
