Props to the pros....

I have to get in a big thanks to John Knehr of crossroads construction. Doing an outstanding job all around. John is also responible for hooking us up with Danny who did all of our wood floors, Tim, who did all of our electric work, and Rich our plumber. John's web-site is www.crossroads-construction.com (973) 670.5601, and you can contact us here at Salt for reference.

This afternoon its off to The City for our "research", a trip to "The Spotted Pig"..the mecca of gastropubs in America (lol), the Blue Note for some cool music and who knows from there. If anything exciting happens or strikes us I will surely put it on here to share with our legions of followers ( or just the few of you out there who tune it to see what the idiot has to say today).

Count me! I'm tuning in from way up North in Hallowell, Maine -- we're buried in snow up here, even NJ looks balmy now. Say, can I still have those fine vintage lamps?

The world (at least Byram) needs researchers like you. Good luck on your journey. As you so aptly stated on an earlier post "The journey of 1000 miles starts with a siongle step step"

Just curious, will you make your March 1 target for opening?

Whenever, it is, let us know as we would love to celebrate it with you.

Hi guys. Wow, I'm so excited for you. The first gastropub in New Jersey is looking fantastic! I love the concept, awesome food and great beer-what more can you ask for? Its great to know you guys are doing well. I checked out the pictures and the kids look so grown up. Best of luck with the opening and all the best for a successful and enjoyable new adventure. Please tell all my old bula buddies hello!
